Sophie shows me some elaborate dance moves.

On our return to Toronto, we stopped off in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We had a wonderful trip to the Tennessee aquarium and spent the night in a 100 year old railway carriage belonging to the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Here, Sophie is dressed in a swimsuit in preparation for an early morning swim prior to embarking on a drive from Chatanooga, through Kentucky to Dayton, Ohio. Posted by Picasa

Sophie at her happiest: in the pool!

We went swimming every day during our holiday. Nobody was more enthusiastic about the pool than Sophie, who could happily spend two hours immersed in water whilst entertaining all who met her with spontaneous cabaret performances. Only Sophie can swim and sing simultaneously. Posted by Picasa

How many umbrellas can you fit in one drink?

Five, if you smile nicely at the waiter! Posted by Picasa

They just taste so much better when they have umbrellas, Mummy!

I assure you that this was not staged.

They really are best friends. On average, David and Sophie spend about 10% of the time fighting, 80% of the time playing and talking and 10% of the time hugging each other. We really are very, very lucky ... and so are they! Posted by Picasa
